Hi, guys! Well, as you can imagine, our preparations for the move have been going fast and furious. So, I'm gonna keep my commentary brief today because there's just no time for me to sit and expound, as I'm so prone to do. Just the facts! Well, as much as I am capable of communicating just the facts, anyway.
We had to change our move date. July 3rd is our last day in our current location! We'll be closing the 3rd at 4pm and then the serious packing begins. If you'd like to come help, this would be the time! We'll be having pizza and beer for all who wanna come put stuff in boxes! We're just going to drink the beer instead of move it. I think this is a sound plan. I'll be finishing up packing and moving a few things on the 4th and then the moving truck comes on the 5th! We've got a lot of work to get opened up in the new space, though, so we will be opening back up on Friday the 13th. Blarney Band will be coming to play that night at 7pm to celebrate our new home! More details on that to come, though.
Originally, I didn't want to be closed for so long, but this is really the most prudent approach, especially since this is our quietest time of the year and our rent goes up some ridiculous amount after the lease expires today. Time to hit the trail! So, with that said, this is a good time for you to stock up on coffee beans for brewing at home, freezing away some pastries or picking up some soup or quiche to stash!
Alright, I said I'm not going to ramble, so I'm resisting the temptation and I'll say good-bye for now. I do have to say again, though, how grateful I am to all of you for your support during this time. It's going to be a good move for us, but that's only because our community is really supporting us! Thank you!

Hi Point Stories
We've recently been talking about what great people we get to share our lives with at Hi Point and one of our customer's suggested that we start writing down a story a day, 'cause really, interesting news is shared every day in our little microcosm of the universe. So, I started thinking about how to share these stories more and I'm thinking of doing a customer bio in these newsletters so y'all can start to get to know each as we know and love you. Wouldn't that be fun? But, then I was thinking how much fun would it be for us to gather your stories and share them, as well. Stories about Hi Point or whatever you'd like to share. You can post on our facebook page or send me ideas/thoughts/poems/whatever that I can publish through our newsletter and/or fb. I'm not totally sure what this would look like, except that I wanna start sharing these wonderful people and stories which we have the joy of hearing all the time. What do you think?

Ian Kahler is our resident photographer, supplying all these awesome shots of Hi Point. I'm so grateful to you, Ian! You can check him out at http://www.redbubble.com/people/iiman
Plus, Ian's got a community shot book at Hi Point, which you can peruse. It's up front where the newletter binder and the community sketch book are located.
Record Street
I just made the last run to Record St and they were so grateful for the toiletries we brought. So, it made me think that we should put some extra focus on gathering toiletries when we reopen. Do you have travel toiletries from hotels? Or just extra shampoo? Start looking around your house and then bring in the spoils on the 13th!
