Is shnikers a word? Well, it should be!

Hi Point Coffee & Cafe Newsletter July 15th 2012 Holy shnikers, moving is hard! I can regale you with stories of obstacles overcome another day. Today I just need to say that we won't be opening tomorrow. :( But, Wednesday is the day and that is not so very far away! At this point, I'm pleased to report that we have achieved the all important health department approval and will start baking for our Veterans' kiosk again tomorrow. Woot! As for the shop, we have to finish the floors and cabinets. Not trivial, but it's not building a kitchen either, so for that I'm very grateful. I appreciate your patience and thanks to those of you who have dropped in to say hi! I can't wait to be behind our new counter, serving coffee in our new shop with our new machine. It's coming, step by step. So Wednesday! Til then, take care. :) Sarah PS I almost forgot that the patio has been poured! So, we'll have outdoor seating much sooner than I thought. I think it only has to sit another day and then it's ready to rock n' roll. Good times! Newsletter Photography!! Ian Kahler is our resident photographer, supplying all these awesome shots of Hi Point. Ian and Carol Ann, his lovely wife, have been taking lots o pictures of the move and the resettling. Not to mention putting in some real effort in unpacking, cleaning, carpentry and most importantly, keeping the days fun. :) Stay tuned for upcoming shots of the move ala Ian!! You can check Ian's work at http://www.redbubble.com/people/iiman Plus, Ian's got a community shot book at Hi Point, which you can peruse. It's up front where the newletter binder and the community sketch book are located. Record Street I just made the last run to Record St and they were so grateful for the toiletries we brought. So, it made me think that we should put some extra focus on gathering toiletries when we reopen. Do you have travel toiletries from hotels? Or just extra shampoo? Start looking around your house and then bring in the spoils on the 16th! This email was sent to sarah@hipointcoffee.com by sarah@hipointcoffee.com |
