more awesome things about hi point

Hi!!!!!!!!
Long time, no chat. I missed you, so I hope you missed me! Or otherwise that would be awkward. Luckily for me, I won't ever know. Ah, ignorance! :)

As usual, there's lots going on, so I'll cut short the reverie. Business is at hand!

One.
I'll be on the Bosma Business radio program this Saturday, live at 10am. KOH 780AM. Yikes! But, I know these guys are real pros so hopefully they'll guide me true. Super fun and thanks to our friend Doug for lining this up for me!

Two.
New menu items have been arriving somewhat sneakily onto the menu over the past couple weeks and now the Spring menu is done! There's a new tuna melt panini, pulled pork panini, new salads that are uber tasty and some really fun new breakfast items as well, including a new breakfast sausage being featured in our brunch this Sunday. Click here to check it out!

Three.
There's a ton more down below. Scroll down, read, rest your eyeballs on occasion, 'cause there's a lot and I don't want to be the cause of eye strain or, heaven forbid, a finger pull. Pacing is everything. And remember to breathe. ;)

Hope all is well in your world! And I look forward to seeing you soon. Thanks for all you do and being so very awesome.

Tchuss!

So, I'm rereading it and we'll be gathering to discuss April 21st, 1pm. If you're not part of the group I've mentioned, no worries. You're totally welcome! So, buy it and get started! Community News
Here's some stuff going on in the community that I thought you might wanna know about!

Hi Point Community Garage Sale

I've been moving forward (in my mind only, as of yet!) with organizing a group rummage sale. I think this'll be great. The idea is to have folks sell their stuff at a group rummage sale. I'm thinking about asking Ribeiro if we can have access to the large space next to us and allow folks to set up tables and sell their stuff. We could do it over a weekend and have a key to lock it up at night. Sounds good, huh? I do have to ask for permission first, of course, but this is my hope. Then, we could get customers from all the local businesses to come sell their stuff and turn this into a wonderful rummage sale that would be advertised throughout the neighborhood. I'm gonna ask for permission and then get started with talking to neighborhood businesses to get this rolling. I think this'll be a blast. Let me know if you have ideas, opinions or just thoughts about this. I'd love to hear! :)

River School CSA

I was thinking some of you would be interested in the CSA at The River School. CSA means community supported agriculture and the idea is you subscribe to the farm for a weekly fee and you get a box with your share of the harvest for the week. The River School is super close to Patagonia, down on 4th St on the river and they have room for more subscribers for their wonderful organic, local produce that will change through the summer. Eggs are also available. You pick up on Thursdays and then you have your veggies for the week for your family. Nate and I have subscribed to CSAs before. It's a wonderful way to eat and we'll be signing up for the River School shares when summer sets in. Right now, the shares are full beautiful greens and we have a ton of our own right now, but come summer we'll definitely love to get our shares of corn, peppers, zucchini, herbs, etc. Totally awesome! Call them for more information!! #(775) 747-2222
or check out their site. http://www.riverschool.info/Home.html
