Yo, peeps! ;) Hahaha! Did you like my Easter pun? Huh? Pretty funny, yes? ;) Peeps? Like people being the same as little marshmallow chicks? Oh, jokes that you have to explain. Not good, but I'm apparently easily entertained. :) Well, Reno in true form, is snowing in the days leading to Easter though it should be gorgeous by Sunday! I'm excited for Easter this year, I think in part because Easter's theme of renewal resonates with me so much this year. It does feel like a year of change for me and for many folks I know, really. So, let's party like its 2012 on this Easter! Oh yeah! :) Lots of stuff lining up so far for this month. The big ones for this weekend are the art opening for the West Wall Art Project. The new works will be installed and a reception to meet and greet the artists will be on Sat at 1pm. And Sunday Brunch for Easter this Sunday! It's gonna be tasty, so come spend your holiday with us. :) Hope all is well for your and your family and I'm looking forward to seeing you next time! Sarah |

| An idea... I've been moving forward (in my mind only, as of yet!) with organizing a group rummage sale. I think this'll be great. The idea is to have folks sell their stuff at a group rummage sale. I'm thinking about asking Ribeiro if we can have access to the large space next to us and allow folks to set up tables and sell their stuff. We could do it over a weekend and have a key to lock it up at night. Sounds good, huh? I do have to ask for permission first, of course, but this is my hope. Then, we could get customers from all the local businesses to come sell their stuff and turn this into a wonderful rummage sale that would be advertised throughout the neighborhood. I'm gonna ask for permission and then get started with talking to neighborhood businesses to get this rolling. I think this'll be a blast. Let me know if you have ideas, opinions or just thoughts about this. I'd love to hear! :) sarah@hipointcoffee.com |
