Hello, all! Well, we finally have our beer and wine license. Woo-hoo! So glad that hurdle is cleared. Thank you so much to all those who helped make that happen. Now, the hurdle is to sell beer and wine. :) We currently have one distributor, but we'll be adding more to increase our variety. I'll be listing our current options below. And now that the weather will be changing from hot to freezing in two days, you'll need something warm in your belly more than ever. Hope all is well and hope to see you soon!
All the best!
Sarah
PS Folks are asking me a lot about extending hours now that we have our license. We will be extending hours, to be sure, but we'll do it somewhat slowly so that increased cash flow can pay for those hours as opposed to just jumping in and hoping for the best. I protect my little bank account like crazy, so it's coming but not for another month, most likely. |

Book Club Selection
The new book for this month
follows the theme of food and Halloween. Go find a copy of Gil's All Fright Diner. Here's a little blurb from a review...
"The story is simple: two kinda friends - one a vampire, one a werewolf - agree to help the owner of an all-night diner with her zombie problem. Yea, that sounds simple, but somehow Martinez has crammed more imagination, originality, action, smiles and endearing characters in 272 pages than most writers would in 10 books or their whole career. I am truly impressed."
Sounds good, no?? Go get a copy, read it up and come join us later this month to discuss and laugh together!
