Good morning!
My mind is kinda blank today on what to write today. That never happens, 'cause there's always stuff to share. I think my brain is on summer vacation, but thankfully I have a staff of great people here to take care of you and me. Never fear, my wonderful folks! I hope y'all are out doing fabulous things on this gorgeous day, but not so fabulous that you forget to come see us. ;)
See you soon!

Sunday's Breakfast Special
Sunday 9am to 1pm
This Sunday we're keeping it simple, but so very delicious!
French Toast with blueberry maple syrup and fresh nectarines served with a side of homemade rosemary mustard sausage and fresh fruit.
The blueberry maple syrup is the same as we served for the German pancakes a few weeks ago and was completely wonderful, so we're pleased to bring it back. And the smell of rosemary is already filling the kitchen!

Book Club Selection
The next book club selection is The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly. It's a book suitable for young adults and us old fogies alike. We're encouraging the kids to get involved for this one and for the rest of us, we'll have a wonderful reason to read an enchanting book a young man named David who "takes refuge in his imagination and soon finds that reality and fantasy have begun to meld. While his family falls apart around him, David is violently propelled into a world that is a strange reflection of his own -- populatedby heroes and monsters and ruled by a faded king who keeps his secrets in a mysterious book, The Book of Lost Things."
The next meeting is August 22nd, Sunday 2pm. Hope y'all start reading!
