Hi, guys! Not much to say today, so I'll save it for another day. :) Hope you're having a great week and hope to see you soon!
Sarah

Doors at 7pm, starts at 8pm. Tickets are still available at the door, but you have to pay for these ones. You had your chance for the free ones already! |
Farmer's Market Special for Sunday
Sunday 9am to 1pm
I don't know exactly what the menu is for Sunday and I'm not going to know until I'm done buying the goodies at the farmer's market on Saturday, but that alone should be reason to come!
I can tell you, though, the entree will include heirloom tomatoes stuffed with pesto, eggs, Italian sausage, all baked to perfection with loads of buffalo mozzarella. The rest really is just detail, right? :) I'll announce the final menu on our facebook page, but we'll be ready to serve at 9 am Sunday, so come in to see what's cookin!

Book Club Selection
The next book club selection is The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly. It's a book suitable for young adults and us old fogies alike. We're encouraging the kids to get involved for this one and for the rest of us, we'll have a wonderful reason to read an enchanting book a young man named David who "takes refuge in his imagination and soon finds that reality and fantasy have begun to meld. While his family falls apart around him, David is violently propelled into a world that is a strange reflection of his own -- populatedby heroes and monsters and ruled by a faded king who keeps his secrets in a mysterious book, The Book of Lost Things."
The next meeting is August 22nd, Sunday 2pm. Hope y'all start reading!

Acoustic Grind - Saturday 1:30pm This Saturday we have the Acoustic Grind from 1:30 to 3:30 featuring Dave Fritz on guitar and Cap on percussion. It's two hours packed with great music from two of my favorite Reno musicians. Come, hang out and avoid the heat! |
Sunday Crafts! 2:30pm
Sunday craft time! Bring your projects of whatever your favorite craft is, meet some folks, share your skills or ask your questions. It's too hot to do anything but start knitting Christmas presents, anyway, right? Sounds good to me!!

Bike Ride Monday 10am
I've heard many rumblings of interest about this little ride, but perhaps some folks are a little intimidated? Please don't be! The ride is meant to be fun and low pressure way to get on the bike and we take it easy, no matter what. So come and enjoy the summer morning on your bike!
