Hello, all!
The news of the week is I'm figuring out how to get our beer and wine license.I think this is a good move for us, so hopefully we'll have our provisional license in about 6 weeks. You'll have to let me know if you have suggestions about what beers/wines you'd like to have when you come in! Let me know whatever your thoughts are on the matter, since you are the ones I most want to please. :)
Also, we're starting a new little club called "the Coffee Klatch". Bring in your favorite mug to leave at Hi Point. We'll keep it safe and clean for you and you'll get a discount for every coffee or tea you enjoy at Hi Point! So, bring in your mug and we'll keep it ready for you!
Also, special for the rest of the summer, are our special floats made with Stewarts sodas. The best has to be the D-Lux Root Beer Float with espresso and caramel sauce. It is truly heavenly, so I hope you come try it!
Well, so much for being tounge-tied last week. I'll cut myself off now that I've written a small novella. Have a wonderful evening and I look forward to seeing you soon! :)

Book Club Selection
The next book club selection is The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly. It's a book suitable for young adults and us old fogies alike. We're encouraging the kids to get involved for this one and for the rest of us, we'll have a wonderful reason to read an enchanting book a young man named David who "takes refuge in his imagination and soon finds that reality and fantasy have begun to meld. While his family falls apart around him, David is violently propelled into a world that is a strange reflection of his own -- populatedby heroes and monsters and ruled by a faded king who keeps his secrets in a mysterious book, The Book of Lost Things."
The next meeting is August 22nd, Sunday 2pm. Hope y'all start reading!
