HI! Hope everyone is doing well. :) Lots of fun stuff this weekend, starting with tomorrow night (Wisdom and Wine), the Ol' Biddy Dance Party on Saturday (gonna be awesome!), Sunday Brunch and Book Club on Sunday! You can check out the details of everything down below. The Ol' Biddy Dance Party is the really big event for the weekend and its primarily for me, since I love to dance. Love it! But I'm old for the party scene. Shocking, I know. Y'all think I'm 22, but sadly I am not. And I also like going to bed and waking up feeling reasonably healthy. So, if you like to dance or your kids love to dance, it's an all-ages way to have some good fun.
So...ta ta for now and I hope to see you soon!
All the best!
Sarah

Upcoming Events! Wisdom and Wine Night Friday February 24th, 4:30-6:30 Some friends of mine will be hosting a study group on a monthly basis called Wisdom and Wine. The idea is to "provide the opportunity for those who have studied spirituality from a number of disciplines and traditions" to gather and discuss our common interests. Whether you have studied spirituality for years or just have an emerging interest, you are welcome. The Ol' Biddy Dance Party Saturday February 25th, 7pm This is gonna be so much fun. This is a dance party featuring a real DJ, spinnin' electronic dance music. This is the type of music that so many people love to get down to, but it's always at an hour that this ol' biddy can't tolerate anymore. So, why not make our own party at a reasonable hour? This way, lots of us can have fun and go home while others can just call it a pre-game and move on into the evening. All ages are welcome! Book Club Sunday February 26th, 1pm "In the Garden of Beasts" Movie Night! Monday March 5th, 7:15pm Howard's End Astronomy Lounge Saturday March 10th, 1-4pm Ian Kahler is hosting this event and in his own words...This is NOT revenge of the nerds ok... so don't be intimidated. Astronomy/NASA/ and space technology is of interest to many of us now. Join me, share your thoughts.
Yoga Class at Hi Point! Monday, February 27th 5:30pm - 6:45pm Wednesday, February 29nd 5:30pm - 6:45pm Yoga Monday and Wednesday nights. Bring your mat! Class is a $7 donation to Jelena. jelenahardy@gmail.com Jelena's style of yoga is a dynamic flowing practice that allows the internal movement of the breath to carry the external movement of the body. As the life force (prana) is intensified and stilled, the physical practice becomes a dynamic form of meditation. Challenging the body and mind to find a balance between effort and receptivity imbues the physical practice with lightness and grace and maximizes one's power of conscious manifestation. This process of self-realization and unity with the divine is the essence of yoga.
Newsletter Photography!! Ian Kahler is our resident photographer, supplying all these awesome shots of Hi Point. Ian's publishing an e-book on Hi Point, which will be available soon. I'm so grateful to you, Ian! You can check him out at
