News from Hi Point Coffee and Cafe 9/14/11

Yo!
That about sums it up right there. Just wanted to say hi. :) This week is one of those "quiet before the storm" weeks. Got lots in the works, but I'm not talkin' yet. So, we'll leave this one short and sweet. Come to brunch, come to yoga and I'll tell you all about the rest in a week or two. Hope you are enjoying this gorgeous early fall weather!

All the best to you and yours,
Sarah

Jelena's style of yoga is a dynamic flowing practice that allows the internal movement of the breath to carry the external movement of the body. As the life force (prana) is intensified and stilled, the physical practice becomes a dynamic form of meditation. Challenging the body and mind to find a balance between effort and receptivity imbues the physical practice with lightness and grace and maximizes one's power of conscious manifestation. This process of self-realization and unity with the divine is the essence of yoga.
Hi Point's Summer Menu for Lunch and Breakfast!

We're doing new menus to reflect the seasons. Check out the new summer menu posted here ! The seasons are about to change, though, so I'm preparing now for the Fall! Stay tuned. :)
Community News

1. Got the new menu for the Fall in the works!! It's gonna be tasty and including a bunch of comfort food favorites for the coming cold weather. Love it. :)

2. We got a whole bunch of new great books this week for the exchange, including some really nice hardback mystery/thrillers and cookbooks. Thank you for all the donations this week! You know who you are. :)

In case you aren't familiar with the book exchange in the front window, I want to invite you to come get some books! This shelf is full of free books so come pick one or two or ten up! Folks do get confused about the meaning of free in context of these great books, so let me be extra clear. They're really all free. You don't have to bring anything back, there's no guilt or any obligation at all. They're just free books. As far as I'm concerned, pick up a birthday present for someone or start your Christmas shopping way, way, way early. It's your bookshelf and it's full of some pretty great books! There are a few romances, but not a ton, I promise. ;) And, if you feel like donating to your Hi Point community, bring some books in, but in the meantime, come and get 'em!

3. Thanks to everyone for being a part of our community! The joy in our work is the pleasure of getting to know you, so thank you for coming in and sharing your lives with us. :)
