The Hi Points from Hi Point Coffee 7/28/11

Hey-ho! Got some good music going on this week. Jazz on Thursday and Bluegrass on Friday, both of which I think are best heard live. Plus, both shows are free! Woot! I've got links and what not below.

As for the rest of the news of the week, I'm simply shocked that it's Wednesday already. Shocked! I'm blaming this inner-timing hiccup for the fact that I can't seem to put together a sentence today. Ack! It's driving me crazy! So, instead of torturing all of us, I think it's wise to simply let the news stand on its own strength and hope for coherence next week. :)

Hope you're doing well and not experiencing any internal hiccups. And I look forward to seeing you soon! :)

Summer time and the livin' is easy...when you eat pulled pork for breakfast!

We're doing new menus to reflect the seasons. Check out the new summer menu posted here !
New Book Club Selection

This definitely sounds funny, even to me, the dedicated non-parent. I can only imagine the difficulties of parenthood, so it seems a truly great idea to sit back and have a good laugh at the craziness of it all, right? And I get to sit back and laugh at y'all and call you suckers. ;)

Next meeting is August 28th!
New Coffee Featured at Hi Point!

Our roaster, Wood-Fire Roasted Coffee, is celebrating 10 years of great roasting in Reno, NV.He's made a very special Anniversary Blend and we're brewing this up for as long as its available. It's certified Organically Grown and Fair Trade. It's tasting notes are predominately chocolate and orange spice, with pralines, vanilla and caramel. It's delicious and I wouldn't expect anything less from Tim. Congratulations on 10 years, Tim! :)
