The Hi Points from Hi Point Coffee 8/20

Hi, all!
It's been a quiet week at Hi Point Coffee and Cafe...:)
I'm hoping some of you get my reference. Otherwise, I might feel silly. Sorta. ;) Anyway, it has been a sorta quiet week, though I know it's time for it to not be. Folks are starting to ask what kind of beer and wine we'll be serving and how we'll change our menu to support that and what are the laws surrounding serving, etc. Oh boy, who wudda thunk that this would be so complicated! So, stay tuned. Guess it's time for my thinking cap, but if you have any ideas, suggestions, favorite beers and/or wines for us to try, please let me know.

Otherwise, I wish you a wonderful weekend and I hope to see you soon!

All the best from Hi Point, where all the women are strong (well, so is Justice and our newest addition, Alex!), where all the men are good-lookin' (do I have to say that?) and all the children are above average (well, that is certainly true!). :)

Cheers!
Sarah

Sunday craft time! Bring your projects of whatever your favorite craft is, meet some folks, share your skills or ask your questions. It's too hot to do anything but start knitting Christmas presents, anyway, right? Sounds good to me!!

Poet's in the Round tonight! 6-8pm
We'll be moving our Poet's in the Round event to Saturday evenings in the future so as to not disrupt the open mic nights. But, in the meantime, please come join us tonight for a great evening of poetry.
Book Club Selection

Bookclub is this Sunday at 2pm!! We're discussing the Book of Lost Things by John Connolly. To be honest, I haven't even read it, but I'm still joining the discussion because I love this group of people. Please join us!
