Mother's Day Weekend! Ok, so maybe not the world's most exciting holiday but I like Mother's Day. Too bad my Mom is not in Reno, but I do have people who "mother" me in lots of ways and I think this is a good year to honor the people who take care of me. So, shout out to you, Mom, but also a thank you to the many moms in my life who make it all so much fun and who also make it easier on the hard days, happier on the sad days and better all around. :)
Thanks, y'all and tell your moms you love them!

*You totally qualify as a mom, even if you just take care of a house plant or foster mold in the refrigerator. All of life needs love, right? I'm a mother to my dog and to Hi Point. That's enough for now, so can you tell my mom to stop asking me about it already?! ;)

Mom Stories
As an honoring of our all our mothers, Hi Point is gathering stories we treasure about our mothers, stories of being a mother or even fictional stories of motherhood. We're gathering these shared thoughts, stories, memories or pictures and putting them in a book to share with others at Hi Point. So, think of your favorite stories, come write them down at Hi Point and read what others have to share. |
