Yeah for Father's Day! I've been talking about what to do for Father's Day brunch for weeks. It's been a wonderful source of entertainment and conversation, so it was tough to narrow down the options. I hope you enjoy the menu and come in for a festival of all things bacon. It's a day worthy of throwing out notions of health and sensibility and just enjoy the flavors. What fun! Cheers to you, Dads! Thanks, y'all! Sarah Poets in the Round this Friday! Poets in the Round is a fun poetry reading with 4 local poets and music interludes. The experience is fun, intense and captivating. Cover $3. 6pm to 8pm. The poets are Wes Reid, Krista Benjamin, Joe Hunt, and Nicole Williams.   Dad's Day Bacon Brunch Sunday 9am to 2pm Starter Piles of little sweet pastries and savory pastries, featuring bacon Entree Eggs served with bacon and cheddar cheese meatloaf, smashed garlic potatoes and biscuits. It's your day, Dads, why not have meatloaf for breakfast! Dessert Candied bacon ice cream with rum caramel sauce Cost per person is $15 and includes coffee, tea or Odwalla orange juice As always, we serve our regular breakfast menu along with brunch. Acoustic Grind - Sat 1:30pm! Hi Point hosts the Acoustic Grind music series every Saturday from 1:30-3:30pm, no cover. Sunday Crafts! 2:30pm Sunday craft time is here! We're gathering to do knitting, crocheting, embroidery or any other portable craft you'd like to bring and share! Monday Bike Ride 10am Hey, all! There's a few of us that are thinking about going on a no-pressure, no-drop road ride on Monday mornings. Come and join us! Our routes may change and would be about an hour or two of riding, depending on what people would like to do. I'm totally out of shape, but it's time to stop using Hi Point as my ultimate excuse for avoiding exercise forever. So, come ride, chit chat and have some fun with a side of exercise. :)
