Well, the weather is unbelievable but just think how grateful we'll be for the sun and the warmth of the weekend! I'm sure many of you are heading out of town but for the rest of us, we're doing some fun stuff! Sunday brunch is all about old style American cooking, open mic on Friday, Acoustic Grind on Saturday and crafting on Sunday! We sold out of brunch early on Sunday, but we'll make more this week to be ready for y'all!

It's Open Mic week! This Friday we are back to the open mic for the next month of Friday nights. Sign ups are at 5:30 and performances are from 6-8pm! Come share your music, comedy, poetry or thoughts. Or just come listen! That's my plan.

Acoustic Grind  Linda Young is coming to share great acoustic folk music! Music is from 1:30-3:30 Saturday afternoon. Linda's been to Hi Point once before and I think we all had a blast! Welcome back, Linda!

Sunday Crafts! 2:30pm Sunday craft time is here! We're gathering to do knitting, crocheting, embroidery or any other portable craft you'd like to bring and share!

Our barista Jonie is in a competition to be selected to play with her band Red Car Slow at the Lilith Fair show in Vegas. The competition is won by voting between songs and she's in crunch time for getting votes, along with many other Reno women performers who've played at Hi Point Coffee.
